Livingstone Activities

Our first full day in Zambia was the start of our adventure activities. I had booked us a lion walk and elephant safari so my parents could experience these amazing creatures for themselves. Yes these tours are controversial and I would not do these again due to understanding the background of these experiences.

My parents were quite apprehensive with the lion walking as you can see in the video but they pushed through their comfort zones and ultimately enjoyed interacting with the lions. They were a lot more comfortable with the elephant ride in the afternoon and the presence of two baby elephants was really nice to see them with their mums.

Transfers were included in the tours but we arranged to get dropped off at the local Shoprite where we could get some snacks and drinks. It also allowed us to get some lunch to tie us over for the day.
